This made me think of one time when I woke up physically but not mentally, and I started yelling to my parents that I couldn’t find my license plate. You know, the one that goes on my bed. It was missing, and I absolutely needed it. I think I even started crying.

Had a heart attack in high school during an engineering presentation once. It’s not healthy, so I do it rarely and just deal with being tired the rest of the time.
I out-drank a guy twice my age and 2.5 times my weight on an empty stomach. That was the second time I’ve ever drank, and the last time I drank. Ain’t really about that life.

I have legitimately chugged one of those 20 minutes before going to sleep and slept like a baby. I needed it to keep from konking out on the drive home from my girlfriend’s house. I don’t think it really helped :/

Genetic predisposition to strokes and heart attacks. Always minor. Had one heart attack and four strokes so far. No lasting side effects other than worse and worse memory. It sucks, and is part of the reason I insist on never having kids; I don’t want to risk passing any of this horseshit on to them.
Like I said; this isn’t a habit, and I have yet to experience any ill effects as a result of the caffeine/sugar. Of course, that doesn’t mean I suddenly won’t experience an effect and die as a result.

@jkm, I did a little bit of research on caffeine and posted above. If he drinks both of those in rapid succession, that’s still only 80% of Mayo Clinic’s opinion of a safe daily dose of caffeine. But I’m with you: it is much.
